The PARD Pantera 480 is a lightweight, compact thermal rifle scope featuring a 480×360 VOx thermal sensor with 12 µm pixel pitch and NETD ≤ 20 mK, operating at a 50 Hz refresh rate for clear, responsive thermal imaging even in low contrast conditions. It is equipped with a 35 mm multicoated germanium lens offering 2.1× optical magnification and up to 8× digital zoom, along with a 7.1° × 7.1° field of view and exceptionally long 100 mm eye relief. The scope integrates a laser rangefinder capable of accurate ranging out to 1,200 yards, feeding data into an onboard ballistic calculator designed for precision shooting. Thermal data and settings are displayed on a bright 800×800 circular IPS display, complemented by six image modes, three scene modes, and six reticle styles in four colors for customization. It also includes features like hot-track target highlighting, picture-in-picture display, recoil-activated and loop recording, electronic compass, gyroscope stabilization, and mechanical shutter. Connectivity options include built-in Wi‑Fi for use with PardVision2 app, USB‑C, and HDMI support with photo and HD video capture to microSD storage up to 128 GB. Built with durable aircraft‑grade aluminum housing (IP67 rated) and recoil resistance up to 6,000 J, the Pantera 480 is powered by a removable 18650 rechargeable battery delivering approximately six hours of runtime, with external USB‑C charging available for extended field use.
