The AGM Taipan V2 19‑384 is a compact and rugged handheld thermal monocular featuring a 384×288 VOx sensor with 12 μm pitch and NETD under 20 mK, delivering vivid thermal imagery at a smooth 50 Hz refresh rate. It utilizes a 19 mm F/1.0 germanium lens providing 2× optical magnification and up to 8× digital zoom, with intuitive digital zoom scales from 1× to 16×. The heat signature is displayed on a bright 1024×768 OLED screen, enhanced by advanced image processing, and supported by features like hotspot tracking, picture-in-picture mode, stadiametric ranging, and four customizable color palettes.

Operation is simplified by a tilt sensor that powers off the display when stowed and wakes it when lifted. It includes built-in photo/video/audio recording to 16 GB internal memory, Wi‑Fi hotspot for streaming, USB‑C external power support, and a removable 18650 rechargeable battery offering over 6.5 hours of runtime.
