The Armasight Contractor 640 3–12×50 mm is a rugged, high-performance thermal weapon sight built around the proprietary ArmaCORE™ 12 µm, 640×480 thermal sensor and features a 3–12× zoom with digital up to 4× on a fast 50 mm F/1.0 germanium lens. It delivers sharp, real-time imaging at 60 Hz refresh and displays visuals on a crisp 1024×768 AMOLED display with multiple color palettes for enhanced detection. Designed for intuitive use in the field, the Contractor includes a turret control interface, built-in stadiametric rangefinder, digital compass, inclinometer, and picture-in-picture mode, allowing rapid adaptation to changing conditions. Additional standout features include onboard video/photo capture, Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth connectivity via USB‑C, and solid-state internal memory, all in a MIL‑STD compliant, IP67-rated aluminum housing that withstands up to .50 cal recoil. The system runs for up to 4 hours on two CR123A batteries, is noticeably lighter and more compact than traditional thermal scopes, and comes with a quick-detach mount, zeroing target, and accessories in the box -- backed by industry-leading durability for mission-critical use.
